Education

Dr. Habbel received his B.S. in biochemistry from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. He then studied dentistry at the Temple University School of Dentistry, receiving his D.D.S. in 1982. After graduation, Dr. Habbel completed a one-year residency and a one-year fellowship in 1983 and 1984 at the renowned Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. His residency training enables him to offer you the convenience of comprehensive periodontic and endodontic care with no need for outside referrals. In 1983, Dr. Habbel went into private practice and has been practicing ever since.

Professional Affiliations and Awards

Dr. Habbel is a member of several recognized dental organizations, including being a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, a member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Dentistry and a member of ITI, International Team for Implantology where he meets monthly with world renowned implant specialists.

About the Staff

Dr. Habbel's friendly and experienced staff is dedicated to your comfort and care. The staff of seven is made up of two Dental Hygientists, three Dental Assistants and two Front Desk Assistants. All of Dr. Habbel's staff are highly experienced in their perspective positions and can answer all your dental care questions.

About the Practice

For your comfort and convenience, Dr. Habbel's practice offers comprehensive care in an intimate setting. We perform most dental procedures right here at our office, including dental implant replacement. Our office is spacious and wheelchair accessible, with large, comfortable examination rooms. Our extensive use of the most recent advances in dentistry, including laser technology, digital X-rays, and intraoral cameras, further distinguishes us from other dental practices in the area.

Financing

At Dr. Habbel's practice, we believe that cost shouldn't be an obstacle to dental health. We offer a 10 percent discount to senior citizens and a 5 percent discount to non-seniors, provided payment is made with cash or check and is received on the day of service. We accept CareCredit no interest payment plan.

Dr. Habbel's dental philosophy is based on making you feel at ease throughout your course of treatment. Our comfort-enhancing amenities include a back massaging dental chair, music, and heated aromatherapy neck pillows for your relaxation and enjoyment.

About Our Dentist

Dr. Harry L. Habbel brings a unique blend of expertise, education, dental philosophy, and personal inspiration to his Southampton practice. Originally from Williamsport, Pennsylvania, he now enjoys practicing in the Southampton area and spending time with his wife and three children. He is also an avid soccer fan and tennis player and an active member of his church and community. Dr. Habbel chose dentistry as a career because it allows him to exercise his creativity while helping patients maintain both their general and oral health. By focusing on comprehensive patient care with optional cosmetic enhancement, Dr. Habbel demonstrates his commitment to his patients' overall well-being. He also has the education and the expertise to put his ideals into practice.
